Overview

Perfect for studies, classes, and workshops, FREDRIX WATERCOLOR Canvas Pad is a 100% Cotton artist canvas which combines the texture of a natural, woven fabric with a specially formulated gesso designed for all water-based paints. You must staple or mount the canvas sheets to a hard board surface before painting.

It is versatile and durable. It will not tear like paper and you can lightly lift out pigment or completely wash out your painting surface without damaging the canvas surface. 10 Sheets Per Pad. Very portable, these canvas pads are perfect for travel, workshops, and plein air painting! Perfect for stretching over stretcher bars, mounting for display or matting and framing under glass.

These ARTIST SERIES archival quality canvas sheets are double-primed just north of Atlanta, Georgia, with an acid-free acrylic titanium gesso.

A versatile option for watercolors, watercolor sticks, acrylics, inks, paint markers, permanent markers and spray paints.

WATERCOLOR CANVAS TIPS

Ten minutes before you paint, wipe down (firmly) the entire surface of the canvas with a very wet cloth. This will allow for more spontaneous transfer of the paint to the canvas.

If painting loose, staple/adhere canvas to hardboard such as Gator board, foam core or plywood before painting to keep them from buckling.
